Terms of Service

Welcome to Slab City, a card trading simulation game operated by Slab City Games ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our service at slabcity.cards (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent.

2. Accounts

You may sign in using Google OAuth or email through our authentication provider (Supabase). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

3. Virtual Goods & In-Game Currency

All cards, currency, inventory, and items within Slab City are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, sold, or traded for real currency. We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove virtual goods at any time.

4. Purchases & Payments

The Service offers optional paid features including a one-time premium upgrade and purchasable cosmetic skins. All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change. All sales are final. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the game or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Manipulate leaderboards or game results through dishonest means

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, graphics, audio, and game mechanics within Slab City are the property of Slab City Games or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Availability & Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We are not obligated to provide refunds upon termination for cause.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slab City Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of virtual goods or game progress.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
